The BRIDGE-BS summer expedition has concluded successfully, marking significant milestones in Black Sea research.<\/p>

This expedition was conducted in collaboration with partners from Ifremer, the Stockholm Resilience Centre, and METU Institute of Marine Sciences. Focused on the southwestern Black Sea, BRIDGE-BS researchers collected crucial oceanographic and biogeochemical data to enhance our understanding of the region’s marine ecosystem.<\/p>

\u2022 100 Miles of Scanfish Lines:<\/b> Extensive underwater mapping and analysis
\u2022 New Sensor Technologies:<\/b> Enhancing our research capabilities with cutting-edge sensors (WP5-7)
\u2022 Intercomparison Exercise: <\/b>Collaborative efforts with Istanbul University Institute of Marine Sciences and Management (WP1) to ensure data accuracy and reliability
\u2022 Youth Engagement: <\/b>Three young scientists from Black Sea Young Ambassadors and METU Institute of Marine Sciences was trained (WP3-8-9), fostering the next generation of marine researchers<\/p>

This expedition was a testament to international collaboration, coordination with partners, and the vital role of youth in advancing science and research.<\/p>
