Funded by the European Union\u2019s Horizon 2020 Programme, the BRIDGE-BS project has published a new thematic volume titled \u201cFrom Lighthouse to Lighthouse\u201d, developed as part of its efforts to support the sustainable future of the Black Sea.

The book highlights the maritime heritage of the Black Sea, the lighthouses on the Black Sea coast, and their historical significance to its coastal communities. Prepared in line with the project\u2019s objective to enhance ocean literacy, the book contributes to BRIDGE-BS\u2019s wider mission of engaging citizens, young people, and local stakeholders in awareness of sea culture. TUDAV, as a project partner, has actively supported these efforts.

A Comprehensive Compilation of 40 Black Sea Lighthouses<\/strong>
The volume brings together 40 lighthouses identified collaboratively by project partners across the Black Sea basin. Each lighthouse was selected on the basis of:
\u2022 historical and cultural value,
\u2022 maritime significance,
\u2022 and representative relevance within the region.

\u201cFrom Lighthouse to Lighthouse\u201d provides readers with an informed and accessible overview of the Black Sea\u2019s coastal heritage, encouraging a deeper appreciation of the region\u2019s identity while offering new perspectives for cultural and thematic tourism.
