EMSEA Annual Conference 2023 was held in Batumi, Georgia!<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

On 16-18th of October 2023, the European Marine Science Educators’ Association (EMSEA)<\/b> Annual Conference, taking place as part of BRIDGE-BS<\/b> in Batumi, was in full swing, featuring fascinating presentations on the Black Sea Literacy Network, Blue Schools, sustainable blue economy, and much more.<\/p>

In the first day of the Conference, after having an informative introduction about the BRIDGE-BS, attendees could have a chance to get a deep dive into Black Sea Young Ambassadors<\/b>‘ active participation in ocean literacy and science communication\u00a0practices within the BRIDGE-BS framework.<\/p>

Following an exciting 2nd day focused on citizen science, ocean sustainability, diving adventures, and immersive touristic experiences, participants examined Black Sea Literacy<\/b> deeper during an engaging workshop.<\/p>

The Conference concluded with newly forged networks, exchanges of ideas, and productive discussions that will continue to bear fruit in the days to come.<\/p>
