Twelve PhD students are being supported under the H2020 BRIDGE-BS project, with several co-mentored by universities across the Black Sea region and Europe. Their research is making significant strides in advancing our understanding of the Black Sea marine ecosystem and contributing to the broader field of marine sciences.

Back to back with the 3rd BRIDGE-BS General Assembly, a dedicated pitching session provided the students with the opportunity to present their ongoing work. They shared their innovative research on various aspects of the Black Sea’s marine and coastal ecosystems, receiving constructive feedback from their mentors and BRIDGE-BS experts.
