A full-time postdoctoral position is available at the CNR-ISMAR multidisciplinary research team based in Rome, to implement the N-cycle complexity in the coupled physical-biogeochemical model of the Black Sea, in the framework of the EU H2020 “BRIDGE-BS Advancing Black Sea Research and Innovation to Co-Develop Blue Growth within Resilient Ecosystem“ project in close collaboration with Liège University (MAST group).
Requirements for application:
• Ph.D. in oceanography or related fields
• Experience with numerical modelling
• Experience and interest to work in different fields of marine science including
physics, biogeochemistry, ecological processes.
• Good knowledge of English is required.
The successful candidate is expected to visit the MAST group of the Liège University during short stays, and to participate to project and scientific meetings (e.g., AGU, EGU).
The duration of the contract is initially for 1 year with possible extensions. The initial annual gross salary is 22K Euros.
