The BRIDGE-BS consortium recently convened for its 2nd General Assembly, hosted at the Middle East Technical University, Ankara campus. Over the course of three days, participants engaged in a series of enlightening presentations and productive discussions, setting a clear direction for the future of BRIDGE-BS research.
The General Assembly was marked by a wealth of thought-provoking Work Package (WP) presentations. These presentations offered valuable insights and ideas that will guide the consortium’s next steps. The attendees eagerly exchanged thoughts and perspectives, paving the way for innovative solutions to the region’s challenges.
In addition to the informative presentations, attendees had the opportunity to participate in workshops covering various critical topics. These workshops focused on the areas such as data analysis, resilience strategies, climate simulations, scenario planning, and policy development. The diverse range of discussions enriched the collective knowledge of all involved, offering a deeper understanding of the complex issues facing the Black Sea region.
Following the General Assembly, the Steering Committee Meeting took place, where key decisions and strategies were formulated. Building upon the momentum and ideas generated during this fruitful assembly, the consortium charted its course for the future. The commitment to creating a more sustainable and resilient Black Sea region remains steadfast, with the collective efforts of BRIDGE-BS poised to make a significant impact.
