A team from BRIDGE-BS joined the Black Sea Stakeholders Conference 2023, contributing significantly to two days of insightful discussions and engaging activities.
During the Conference, BRIDGE-BS Coordinator Baris Salihoglu presented the roles of BRIDGE Black Sea, DOORS Black Sea, and Black Sea CONNECT in shaping the Black Sea’s future and how they support the implementation of SRIA and CMA.
As the National Hub within the Black Sea Assistance Mechanism, BRIDGE-BS Co-coordinator Mustafa Yucel, shared invaluable insights into the priorities and advancements at the national level, with a particular emphasis on CMA national roadmaps. Furthermore, he expounded on the crucial significance of National Hubs in fostering collaboration and driving progress within the context of the Black Sea region.
During this influential event, BRIDGE-BS also seized the opportunity to showcase its groundbreaking research and highlight the pivotal roles of science and policy through the poster exhibition. Furthermore, the Anemone project, led by BRIDGE-BS partner Institutul National de Cercetare-Dezvoltare Marina “Grigore Antipa” INCDM, was awarded at the Black Sea Project Awards during Black Sea CMA 2023.
