A new research article with BRIDGE-BS contribution was published on Frontiers in Marine Science

The research paper with #BRIDGEBS contribution was published on Frontiers in Marine Science, a peer-reviewed, open access journal which publishes rigorously peer-reviewed research that advances our understanding of all aspects of the environment, biology, ecosystem functioning and human interactions with the oceans.

The article written by a group of researchers, including researchers from BRIDGE-BS partner University of Liège and National Institute for Marine Research and Development “Grigore Antipa”.

In this paper titled “Monitoring Black Sea environmental changes from space: New products for altimetry, ocean colour and salinity. Potentialities and requirements for a dedicated in-situ observing system”, satellite products developed during the Earth Observation for Science and Innovation in the Black Sea (EO4SIBS) ESA project are presented.

The researchers also proposed recommendations for improving the in-situ observing system that will support the development of satellite products.
