A new research article with BRIDGE-BS contribution has been published in Nature Ecology & Evolution!
“Aquatic Deoxygenation as a Planetary Boundary and Key Regulator of Earth System Stability” co-authored by our partner University of Liège researchers and partially supported by BRIDGE-BS has been published in Nature Ecology & Evolution!
The article reveals that the observed deoxygenation of the Earth’s freshwater and marine ecosystems represents an additional planetary boundary process critical to the integrity of Earth’s ecological and social systems, and both regulates and responds to ongoing changes in other planetary boundary processes.
