A workshop investigating the ecosystem dynamics in the Black Sea under the influence of multiple stressors took place at the Université de Liège from March 7th to 9th, 2023.

The central questions addressed during the workshop included how ecosystem dynamics change under multi-stressors in the Black Sea and how we can assess and predict the Black Sea’s state when subjected to the impact of stressors. In the workshop, partners and Work Package (WP) leads from the BRIDGE-BS project convened at the University of Liège to deliberate on strategies to tackle these challenges, assess the progress of WP2, and strengthen the interconnections between various WPs.
