BRIDGE-BS was spotlighted at the SBEP Workshop on "Blue Economy for a Sustainable Black Sea."

Following the 2nd HTS4BS, the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership organized a workshop on “Sustainable Black Sea” on October 17th in Sofia, Bulgaria.

BRIDGE-BS Co-Coordinator Mustafa Yücel moderated a dynamic panel discussion focused on leveraging synergies and strengthening Black Sea networks to advance the Common Maritime Agenda. During the session, BRIDGE-BS Project Manager Pınar Uygurer showcased significant regional achievements driven by the Black Sea SRIA through the Black Sea CONNECT and BRIDGE-BS projects.

Addressing the rapidly evolving global challenges with regional impacts, Uygurer emphasized the need for adaptive actions and training programs to prepare the younger generation. She highlighted key BRIDGE-BS initiatives, including the Black Sea Young Ambassadors program, the Virtual Blue Career Center, PhD students, and the upcoming MOOC, all designed to empower and inspire youth engagement in the sustainable blue economy.
